Do you have an emotional eating problem?

So how do you know that you’re eating for emotional reasons, anyway? See if these patterns fit you:
1)    You diet repeatedly and initially might have some success, but you always gain the weight back.
2)    You feel deprived on diets, and you’re upset that you constantly think about food.
3)    Your eating is unpredictable, haphazard. You grab whatever’s around wherever you are.
4)    You hide food. Then you eat it alone and secretly.
5)    You’re ashamed of your eating habits.
6)    You feel disconnected from your body. You may have forgotten what physical hunger actually feels like.
Yes? Even just one of them? Then let me suggest this to you:
You eat emotionally to fill a void, to relieve a numbness in your heart and soul that is the result of unresolved negative emotions from the past.
